Cox Farm Fun
Before we moved to Europe, a trip to the pumpkin patch at Cox Farm was an annual tradition. It was great to start this tradition again - and even greater to see our old friends the Goodmans. It was beautiful weather, and perfect fall activities - hayride, corn maze, apple cider donuts, fun slides, and pumpkin spice lattes. A fun fall tradition!

Birthday Boy
Our birthday boy Jack had very simple requests for his birthday - cookies for breakfast and "Harry Potter stuff." Luckily we were able to deliver on both - plus some stock in McDonald's (best way to combine a son's love for McDonald's with a father's love for stocks, yes?). Although, I do have to say, Harry, Ron, and Hermione kinda scare the crap out of me in the dark. But that's ok - a mild heart attack is worth a happy boy. Happy Birthday, Jack!

Family Ties
I'll tell you the kind of family my kids want - ones that own ice cream shops. And lucky for them, they've got an aunt and uncle who do. So we're planning lots of trips to Cookies & Cream - you know, to show support and all. It's all about family, after all. Especially ones with ice cream and cookies.
