Babes at the Beach

 Meanwhile, while Jack was chilling after all of his graduation parties....

Ellie headed off to the New Jersey shore with her friend Bella and her family. She had a blast, and did agree to period "proof of life" photos so we'd know she hadn't dropped off the planet. And eventually, she did agree to come home back to the "real world."

Congratulations, Graduate Jack!

 It's official and on the record - our Jack is a high school graduate! His graduation was this past weekend - a little chilly, a little rainy at times, but that didn't stop all the awesome graduates. We are so proud of Jack and all the other graduates!!

Manly Men Doing Manly Things

On Jack's last day of school, he and Jared decided to celebrate by heading off on an overnight camping trip to do Manly Things. OK, fair enough, they were Regular things, but I like to say Manly Men Doing Manly Things, so just let me have my fun.

They drove out to West Virginia and set up camp. Manly, am I right? 

Then they walked over to the local brewery (walked, I tell you! These manly men don't need vehicles!) where they chowed down on some BBQ.

Then they came back and mastered Man's Red Fire.

Then some Manly hiking before heading back home.

I might be a stalker

 First, let me state that I'm one very proud mama. And second, let me also state that I just might be a stalker - just a tiny bit, though. But it's for a good cause, because our Ellie just got her first job. Meet Ashburn Farm's newest lifeguard! Isn't she a cutie! And tough, too - she worked really hard to do the online Red Cross training and then a couple of long, hot days of physical training to officially become a lifeguard. Then she started work last week. 

And yeah, I kinda had to take a picture of her heading off to her job.

And then maybe - just maybe - we might have taken creepy photos of her on the job. 

But hey, it's all for a good cause. Congratulations, Working Woman Ellie!
