Halloween

 OK, so this is a little out of order, so just pretend this was posted in October, because this is Halloween. I have teenagers now, which means that it practically takes an act of Congress to get both teens to agree to photos at the same time. 

So, this is all I managed to get of Ellie. I'll forgive you if you can't figure out what she is dressed (scantily) as .. but it's an Army ... person of some sort. It's been a while since I've been around military folks, but I don't THINK that's standard-issue.

One Hairy Co-Worker

 Here's my new co-worker, y'all. She's kinda hairy and she sometimes bites me and quite often knocks all my pens off my desk. But she's certainly the most cuddly co-worker I've ever had, so I think I'll keep her. 

A Grappling Hook for Christmas

 OK, so I'm on Amazon a lot. Like, really a lot. And I know that when I'm looking at a book or product, if I scroll down, Amazon's AI will show me other things that I might like that are related to that book or product. So recently I was looking at a book, and scrolled down to see its related items. 

The "related" items to this romance novel?

(1) A tool for ghost hunting

(2) A grappling hook

(3) A body tattoo kit 

And (4) a template that helps you track your 12-step program progress. 

So, basically, I'm thinking this is NOT your typical romance novel.

And yes, OF COURSE I ordered it.

Thankful

 We've been trying to get involved more in our community to help (just a little bit) people who aren't as fortunate as we have been. We just finished helping our churches gather "Thanksgiving Bags" (with everything needed for a family's Thanksgiving dinner). We managed to collect enough for almost 400 bags. It's unfortunate that they are even needed, but we're grateful that we could help just a little bit.
